Update on us...
This has been a bit of a rough week for us. Nathan was having some trouble breathing at the beginning of the week, so I took him in to see our Pediatrician. She sent us home with an antibiotic, a steroid and a nebulizer machine so we can give him breathing treatments. Every 4 hours. Around the clock. Hoo boy, I'm sleepy! Setting the alarm for the middle of the night, stumbling around in the dark...it's almost like we have a newborn again! The treatments didn't seem to be working at first, but after a mask change we're good to go. He is breathing better and in great spirits. Over the weekend, we'll stretch the treatments to every 6 hours and then do them 3 times a day starting Monday. We'll also be looking forward to getting out of the house again. The older two are getting a little stir crazy!
I'm also doing a little purging around here. After reading this post by my good friend Jennifer, I was inspired to pull out all, and I mean ALL, of our kids' clothes and sort through them. My living room is an utter disaster. Who know three little kids could accumluate so many clothes? Really? Do I really need 25 white onesies? 6 pairs of 2T jeans? Right now the clothes are in two piles: like and don't like. Obviously the don't like pile is getting tossed. The like pile is about to be split into two more piles: like and love. I am only going to keep the love pile. I think this is going to be really hard. I can't tell if the reason I like some of the clothes we have is because I really do like them or because of the fond memories associated with them. "Remember when Sam wore this?" "Aww, I remember we were doing "X" when Katie was wearing this!" So here's to simplifying! Who knows? I may get on a roll and start tossing toys too!

A Sam Funny
Playing Tic-Tac-Toe with our friend Ben:
Ben: Do you want to be the X's or the O's?
Sam: I'll be the X, because I'm the expert!!

Starkville Bound!
So as soon as Mark gets off work, we're headed up to our old stomping ground. It's Homecoming weekend at MSU, and we're excited to have the opportunity to visit with old friends, tailgate before the game, worship at our old church, oh and probably watch the Dawgs get smacked by the University of Houston. The thing about scheduling a team years in advance? Sometimes they are not a good team when you schedule them, but improve their skills so much that at one point in the season, they're ranked #12. Well, now I see that they've dropped from the Top 25, so maybe State has a chance after all. Catch ya on the flip side! GO STATE!

People. They're the worst.
Oh Wal Mart shoppers of the Bay-Waveland area. Why must thou continue in thine efforts to frustrate me by leaving thy carts in the middle of the parking spaces? Dost thou not realize that merely taking a few more steps toward the beloved cart return would result in a more blissful world for us all?
A gold star to anyone who can guess from what TV show I took the title of this blog...
